what is cryšk?
Cryšk [a'riʃka] is a conlang I have been working on for a fairly long time.
It is a personal language, made for my enjoyment (and pain).
In the canon, cryšk is the language spoken by the ariska people, who's culture I may expand apon at a later time.
notable features of cryšk:
- VSO head initial syntax
- pronouns have a 3-way distinction in number:
- singular
- pragmatically-collective plural
- pragmatically-non-collective plural
- syntactic distinction between nominal-adjectives and true adjectives
- wide use of semi verb-serialization via zero derivation of a verb paired with a head lexical verb to produce new meaning
where can I learn cryšk?
this website is already a good place! Currently there's already a partialy filled dictionary and journal section to look through!
other good places to visit are:
-
my bluesky, where I usually harp on about various features and grammatical quirks of cryšk (feel free to ask me any questions there! its the only place to actually get ahold of me).
-
my youtube channel, dedicted to posting in cryšk, I usualy post reposts of bluesky posts, or recordings of me reading out my journal.
I do hope to provide more resources in the future!
